The Girl Behind the Tallow
Sometimes I find myself wondering who am I, really? What’s my purpose? When I start to dig deep and ask those questions, I have to pause and remind myself where I’ve come from and how far I’ve already come.
We all have a story to tell. Mine isn’t filled with fame or wild adventure it’s a story of everyday living, growth, and love.
I was born in May of 1980 in a small hospital in Streator, Illinois a place where my family’s roots still run deep. My childhood was surrounded by family, lots of family, and a more innocent time of life. During my teenage years, my family moved to Ponca City, Oklahoma, where I graduated high school, became a mother, and began my first career.
For over 20 years, I worked in the medical field as a respiratory therapist. My passion for helping others grew from those long night shifts and quiet moments caring for patients lessons in compassion, strength, and grace that have stayed with me ever since.
Life eventually led me to marry the love of my life, and together we’ve built a beautiful, busy family. We have five children two grown adults and three still at home and our days are a constant blend of school events, family dinners, farm chores, and business to-dos.
It’s chaotic, it’s beautiful, and it’s real life.
Behind the tallow, I’m just a woman trying to balance it all family, faith, hard work, and dreams that keep unfolding with each new season.
Wild Dandelion Boutique and Gullic Farm were born from that same love of home, family, and simple living. What started as a small dream to create natural, wholesome products for my own family has grown into something so much bigger, a way to share pieces of our homestead, our heart, and our story with others.
Every batch of whipped tallow, every homemade balm, and every farmstand good reflects the same care and intention that built our family and farm. It’s not just a business it’s a reflection of our life, our values, and the journey that brought us here.
So here I am the girl behind the tallow still learning, still growing, and still finding beauty in the everyday. 🌸
Thank you for being here for supporting our small family business, for sharing in our journey, and for believing in the goodness of handmade things.
